Red Deer grazing on the roof of the Living Building!

Two of our Red Deer grazing on
the roof of the Living Building

The Living Building is uniquely designed to attract wildlife and to enable visitors to enjoy these creatures at close quarters.  This attraction uses a fresh innovative approach to interpretation whilst maintaining top quality presentation.

Large eaves encourage nesting birds and the turf roof is regularly grazed by Red Deer .  You may see a pine marten sleeping in our mammal boxes. Much of the exhibition is designed for children (or the young at heart).  They can play interactive games, discover the underwater world loch and the crawl through the thrilling Wildcat Den.

Come and crawl through our Wildcat Den - if you dare!!!!!!
